Windows 10: Cannot see my Lacie Firewire drive

Discus and support Cannot see my Lacie Firewire drive in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I got a Lacie Quadra 1TB with both Firewire, Esata and USB2 connection.     Cannot see my Lacie Firewire drive


    Check your BIOS/UEFI settings associated with the e-SATA controller/ports and see if there is a setting for "enable hotplug notification" or something like that. If present, it will have to be set to "enabled" if Windows is to see the removable device.

    If you don't have that setting, try booting the PC with the external drive connected to the e-SATA port and powered up.
