    • What is the make and model of your device?
    • Send us a screenshot of your brightness settings.
    • Can you tell us what troubleshooting steps have you done so far to resolve this?

  3. Windows 10: Issues with Brightness level settings.

    I realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with .Windows 10. I will certainly help you.



    This issue might occur if there is change in brightness settings or power settings.



    To assist you to better, please provided us the information below:

    • When you say that "remains same in all 0 to 100% level", what exactly are you referring to? Have you tried to change the brightness settings?


    I suggest you to run the power troubleshooter and check if it helps.

    1. Click on Search bar.

    2. Type “Troubleshooting” without the quotes and click on
    Troubleshooting.

    3. Then click on View All on the left panel of the Screen.

    4. Click on Power.

    5. Click on Next and follow the prompts to run the troubleshooter.

    Laptop brightness display level

    After the latest Windows update, I cannot change the display brightness level(HP laptop) which is set on high. Please advise. I have tried both the brightness level keyboard key, and the Windows setting option.
