Windows 10: Cannot Sign into Laptop

I can't sign into my Laptop. It requests that i change the pin, yet it will not let me, and it presents me with "Your credentials could not be verified." After I press "Okay," on that screen it says "Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available status: 0x000015b substats: 0x0. Click to set up your PIN again." Once I sign in to my Microsoft account to change the PIN, it presents me with the error message,"Something went wrongWe weren't able to set up your PIN. You can try again, or skip this step and set up a pin later."I have attempted to boot my computer in Safe Mode, yet once it res

Hi,

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.

Once you're able to sign in, you can change the sign-in options by following these steps:
