Windows 10: Cannot turn off airplane mode in Windows 10 - new computer

Hi,


Just purchased a new Lenovo ThinkCentre and cannot connect to internet because I cannot disable the airplane mode. Tried the FN key with the globe tower icon and it does not work. The airplan mode is showing in the action centre. Any suggestions?

How to turn on off Airplane mode in windows 10?

Two methods as given in the article as well.

• Open Action Center by clicking the rightmost icon. In the bottom side, a tile of airplane mode would be given. Clicking that would turn it ON and turn it into bright tile.
• Navigate to Settings>Network and Internet and turn Airplane mode ON or OFF.

Turn On or Off Airplane Mode in Windows 10


I tried all steps and avenues above to turn Airplane Mode OFF of my Dell PC (equipped with bluetooth/wifi), and Airplane Mode with Windows 10 is always on. Even when I try to click to slide it off, it still slides back to "on". I do not see the Airplane icon however, and also I don't notice any wifi connection issues with my computer as that's how I connect to the internet, so I guess I'll leave well enough alone. Just don't understand why it's always on and wont let me slide it to the off position.
