  1. Cannot Turn Wi-fi back on

So this morning, my Windows 10 laptop just decided out of the blue that it wasn't going to connect to the Wifi on my university campus. I know the Wifi network is available since I can connect to it with my smartphone. Windows won't even let me view the list of available networks. It only gives me the option to "Turn back on" wifi after 1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day or Manually. It doesn't respond to the manual setting. I still can't view the network list. Clicking on the wifi logo below the drop-down box doesn't do anthing; it just greys out after a few attempts. I'm hoping the "after 1 hour" setting will solve the problem, but it would be nice if I can get this back up sooner. I have an important Skype call to make in a couple hours! I never even knew about these settings before. The laptop was working fine yesterday. Heck, I never even shut it down since yesterday. Wth?

    :)

  2. Trouble Changing Wi-Fi Password

I've been following the following steps to change my Wi-Fi password for some time:

    1. Launch Control Panel.
    2. Click "Network and Internet."
    3. Click "Network and Sharing Center."
    4. Click "Wi-Fi...."
    5. Click "Wireless Properties."
    6. Click the Security tab.
    7. Check "Show characters."
    8. Enter the password in "Network security key."
Those steps have been working just fine, but today I discovered a new wrinkle. If I change the password inside the router first, "Wi-Fi..." doesn't appear in step 4. This isn't much of a problem at home, because I can just change the password in Control Panel before I change it inside the router, but it would be a problem at a public hotspot, or something of that nature. I also tested Brink's instructions in "How to Connect To a Wireless Network in Windows 10," but they don't work for me either. How can I fix this?

  3. Cannot turn on wi fi

I just reset a Dell laptop for the 3rd time. For some reason I cannot connect to my wi fi network. When I go into Settings and Wi Fi, the option is to manually turn on the wi fi and the "On" slider to turn on the wi fi will not stay "On"....it just keeps
sliding back to "Off". I have run numerous diagnostics and it will not even recognize my network. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am frustrated beyond belief...saw the same issue on this Forum and followed the suggestions and still cannot manually
connect to the wi fi netowrk.

Thank you so much in advance.

    Note:

Airplane mode is a setting that gives you a quick way to turn off all wireless communication that are already enabled on your PC. Once you turn on Airplane mode, you can turn an individual Wi-Fi connection ON even in Airplane mode. This disable all other
connection except the enabled Wi-Fi connection. This is not a bug/problem as this was also available in Windows 8.1. I suggest you to refer
To turn on individual wireless devices while airplane mode is on
    section in below given link:

Also refer the below link as well.

Let us know if this helps or post back if you need further assistance, we will be glad to help.
