Windows 10: Cannot uninstall Dell V515w printer from my computer

I am having a problem with my printer (Dell V515w) so after having tried many things, I decided to uninstall the printer from my computer. I disconnected it from the power source & computer & then went to the control panel clicked on to the printer and clicked uninstall. I was greeted with a message that my printer is not compatible with windows 10 o/s & cannot be installed, so that confused me since it already is installed. In any event, I need to uninstall the printer.

OK. I got the Dell V515w uninstalled from my computer then I tried to reinstall it and got: Not compatible with windows 10. Ok, so I started to read all of the suggestions & didn't really connect on any of them. So, sitting here today, Sunday 2/3/19,
I connected to the computer & plugged it in and then I typed a letter, hit the print symbol & bingo!, it printed my letter. go figure.

As you want to uninstall the Dell printer completely from the Windows 10 computer, please refer this article

uninstall printer and check if that helps.



I also suggest to boot into Safe mode and try uninstalling the printer device. Refer the article to
start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10.



Note:
If you need to exit safe mode.

1. Press the Windows logo key + R.
2. Type msconfig in the Open box and then select OK.
3. Select the Boot tab.
4. Under Boot options, clear the Safe boot
   checkbox
