Windows 10: Cannot uninstall Dell V515w printer from my computer

I am having a problem with my printer (Dell V515w) so after having tried many things, I decided to uninstall the printer from my computer. I disconnected it from the power source & computer & then went to the control panel clicked on to the printer and clicked uninstall. I was greeted with a message that my printer is not compatible with windows 10 o/s & cannot be installed, so that confused me since it already is installed. In any event, I need to uninstall the printer.

After Windows 10 update this weekend I cannot print to any of my printers

There is no new windows 10 driver for my printer. So I followed the Dell suggestions to uninstall the printer and then install older drivers. I choose Windows 7 drivers for my Dell V515W all in one printer. This solved the communication error I was having
but now the printer just prints blank sheets whether I am printing form Word or printing from a web site.

Any further suggestions?

 

Driver for Dell V515 printer fot use with Windows10w

I have A Dell V515W printer which does not work on Windows 10. I am trying to use this printer with Windows 8.1 driver. It gives me ink levels but does not print. I think Dell should provide a driver or I would have to get a printer from Dell' competitors.

I'm looking at the HP's, but I've dealt with my parents older and then newer and didn't like either of them.

I found a Dell that looks pretty slick:





$99, print/scan/copy/fax, wifi, usb direct photo print, 35 pages/min(not bad I see).

Only problem I see is that direct photo printing from USB when it doesn't have a LCD. I'd like to see what picture I am printing before wasting valuable photo paper.
