    Cannot uninstall Your Phone app from PC


    I installed the app but decided it was not for me. However, the TERMINATE link does not work and the UNINSTALL link is grey meaning the app cannot be uninstalled. I have tried to unlink app but it is still showing in my list of apps. I have unstilled it from my phone without any issues so why can't I uninstall it from my PC?

    I have read various articles and help guides on this community regarding fixing errors or resetting app which I tried to no avail. Can someone help me remove this app from my PC.

    Supported phones for Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview


    Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.

    Hi,

    About your concern, you can uninstall apps by following the steps bellow:

    • From your home screen, swipe left to go to apps list.
    • Look for the apps that you want to uninstall.
    • Press and hold the app then tap uninstall.
    Please note that built in apps can't be uninstalled or removed from the phone.
