Windows 10: Cannot update gaming service code 0x800773D28

Every time I try update gaming services on the Microsoft store its always a big hassle and there is always a problem that leads to another. This time when I try update it it comes up with error code 0x800773D28 and says I need to allow the app to make changes to my PC but I'm not sure how.

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

Windows 10 updates automatically updating error code of 0x800705b4

Thanks for the update and response.

I suggest you to go to Windows services and restart the Cryptographic service and check if it helps. Follow the below steps to do so.

Steps:-

• Press Windows Key + R and type “services.msc” (without quotes)
  
• Hit Enter.
• Search for Cryptographic service in the list.
• Right Click on it and stop it.
• Again right click on it and start it.

Follow the same steps and restart the Background intelligent transfer services instead of Cryptographic services and check if it helps.
