Windows 10: Cannot use media keys more than once at a time

Hey,

It worked on my previous laptop, but no longer on my new one.

When I use fn + down arrow key it pauses the song on spotify. But if I want to resume the song, I need to release the keys then use fn + down again, I can't just press fn then pressing down arrow key to pause/play as I want.

Same if I want to skip song, I need to press fn + right arrow. And if I want to skip another song I need to release the keys, then use fn + right arrorw again.. It's kind of frustrating lol.

Run the Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter
and check, if the issue persists.

Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter:

a. Press “Windows key” on your keyboard.

b. Type Troubleshooting and click Troubleshooting under Settings.

c. Now select Programs in the search option.

d. Under Media Player, select Windows Media Player Settings
to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Reinstall Windows Media player

I suggest you uninstall and reinstall the Windows Media Player and check. Refer to these steps:

  Expand Media Features and uncheck the box against Windows Media Player.
