Windows 10: Can't access any folders after modify registry permission

Hi,


I am in a big trouble and need help.


FIrst, i got a problem that i can't open my win10 microsoft edge explorer.

I searched online and found some solutions say that this might be due to conflict of user permission to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and by changing the permission the problem can be solved.


I find this key, right click and select permissions, and give users a full control permission. After i apply this, the strange thing happens that i can't open any folder or startup, or search function. I can still open chrome and word documents.


Could you please suggest a solution?

To provide user/s an access to folders, see the steps below on how to do so:

• Right-click on the folder > Security.
• Under the Group or user names option, click on the username that you want to have an access to the folder; then, click on Edit.
• It will show you the page of permissions which you can allow or deny.
• Choose your desired permissions and click on OK.
