Windows 10: can't access asphalt 8. Error: code 0x803F8001

    Asphalt 8 error code 0x803F8001.

    I have the same problem. Mine started yesterday. This seems way to coincidental that our issue is happening at the same time (with 31 more people as of when I type) and I see no other references on the web.

    To add more to above,

    I am getting this error when opening Asphalt 8:

    "Check your account: Asphalt 8: Airbourne is currently not available in your account...0x803F8001"

    I tried to re-install but the install fails (during "acquiring license"​ step) with basically the same message:

    "Code: 0x803F8001 - Something unexpected happened. Reporting this problem will help us understand it better. You can wait a bit and try again later or restart your device. That may help".



    ​And yes...waiting a bit and restarting the device didn't help. This is now repro with the same game on a second laptop signed on under same account so its not a install issue.

    Its not clear whether this is a problem with Windows Store or Asphalt 8. Here's is thread from Asphalt 8 side.

    Asphalt 8 error code 0x803F8001.

    I had my first issue downloading Asphalt 8 from the store. I am see a code error as 0x803F8001. Have tried all the online threads via google and have submitted to Microsoft. Anyone have any further help. Thank you

    Same issue here with Asphalt Airborne 8. All day long I have been trying to get it downloaded and installed. Continues to get hung up right after "License Request" and then I get hit with the error code.

    No fix found. You?
