Windows 10: Cant activate windows 10

Hello there

I had a problem with my acer aspire s7 with windows 8 and couldn't upgrade I spent 11 days trying to fix it and couldn't find a fix so I deleted RAID Disks apparently it was the problem and now I installed windows 10 from usb and I entered the key but it says "some characters can't appear in the product key "

I got my windows 8 key out of cmd and I read windows 10 can be activated with the same key so that what happened please guys I hope there is a way out of this.

And I got the product key by this cmd command

<wmic path softwarelicens product key >

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
