Windows 10: Can't Boot into the UEFI settings no matter what I do

Discus and support Can't Boot into the UEFI settings no matter what I do in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; A lot of laptop unfortunately have an integrated rechargeable cmos battery - eg lenovos.     I think that's what mine is.. Because I had the motherboard completely out of the computer and didn't see a battery.. Everybody is saying that the S55 models should have a CR-2032 battery but I guess mine is the only exception.. Its almost like the designer made this computer just to piss people off and so they would have to take it to somebody to be worked on

    yea, i'll check their forum out and see if they know anything. but i did find out that with my laptop, they're doing it a different way to where the laptop battery powers the CMOS so when i removed the battery for a little bit, the CMOS reset because it came up with a warning about the time being reset when i started it up afterwards.

    Looks like you pressed and held F2. I believe you need to tap it every second or so from right after power on until the BIOS/EFI menu comes up. All the suggestions I've seen are similar to this:


    • Turn off your Toshiba laptop.
    • Wait 30 seconds and turn your laptop back on.
    • Press F2 key repetitively as soon as the Toshiba laptop begins booting until the BIOS menu screen appears.

    If all else fails, pull out the RAM module and boot it up.

    i've tried that also with no luck. i usually do that to start with but since i didn't work, i tried holding it.

    i just tried that this morning with no luck. i tried pulling out one and it didn't work and i tried with the other one and i even changed slots and tried it and didn't work so i decided to unplug some other devices from my motherboard to see what happens and this is what I got when i booted up....
