Windows 10: Can't boot into Windows. Multiple BSOD errors preventing a boot.

I am unable to boot into Windows 10 at this time.

What I don't want to do:
- Reinstall Windows

What I can't do:
- Automatic System Recovery

- Windows Reset

- Windows Refresh

- Uninstall Updates

- Use Restore Points I don't have any

What I've tried:
- Booting into windows normally Doesn't work, clearly
- DISM using the install.wim from the latest windows 10 iso Operation completed successfully but it had no effect on the ability to boot
- Upgrade installing Windows 10 from flash drive in safe mode/recovery environment Wouldn't let me
- sfc /scannow did work once but it had no effect on the ability to boot

- Using WinDBG to inspect the Minidump files. I'll attach those here if possible.
- Replacing the executables which the minidump says failed
- The above mentioned can't section

What I can do:
- Boot into Safemode with Command Line
- Boot into Recovery Environment
- Boot into other operating systems
- Move files using recovery environment or safemode

ughhh! BSOD on boot

I guess my computer BSOD on boot right before getting to windows. not sure what the problem is though, everything is stable.

It gave me a list of two files in windows that could have caused the problems

 

Multiple Boot Managers and/or active partitions error

I don't know what you did to fix previously but with the commands above should rebuild the the partition unless the partition itself is corrupted preventing you to run those commands.
Let's try another way:

1. Download the Macrium Rescue disk: MacRescue.iso - Google Drive
2. Using a USB stick to create a bootable USB with: Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way
3. Boot up the PC with UEFI Mode and follow the screen shots to rebuild the EFI System partition.
   NOTE: The title must show: ..... Win PE 10 [UEFI] for step 3 to work since your Windows installed with GPT disk.

IMPORTANT: make sure you use the correct disk in step 2, in your case is disk 1

 

Computer Not Booting, Multiple BSODs and Hardware Errors


Hi there,

I am currently trying to troubleshoot my computer as it has recently stopped booting up. I have had a previous thread about this issue here. However, I am moving my thread to the BSOD section after suggestion by 'essenbe'

Here is a summary of my issue:

• For months now, I have been having intermittent issues with BSODs, 'hardware errors' (in the reliability monitor) and freezes on multiple installs of Windows.
• A few weeks ago, I installed a new graphics card (Asus GT610 2GB) which replaced integrated graphics. Also, at the same time as installing the graphics card I 'refreshed' Windows 10 and installed all of the latest drivers.
• All was running fine for a few days, until the computer simply refused to boot one day. When ever I try to boot now, the Windows startup screen simply hangs and never does anything. Safe mode simply boots to a black screen.
• I have tried to run linux live cds and Windows disks. All of which often fail to boot (they just hang on the startup screen).

So far, I have tested my ram with memtest86+ (8 passes) and hard drive with seatools (long test passed).

I attach the last version I could get of the BSOD logs (the folder is slightly outdated as obviously I cannot get any logs now!)
