    Can't change display resolution from HD to Full HD


    My laptop HP 15 da-0327tu HDD crashed. Post installation of a new HDD and SSD laptop was working very slow hence added a SSD drive to improve the performance, I re-installed Win 10 64-bit using the HP recovery tool. Since, this re-installation I am unable to change my display resolution from 1366x768 to 1920x1080.


    I have updated Windows Update to the latest and also updated all relevant software as suggested by the HP Support Assistant, but still can't change the display resolution. The max. is shows me is 1366x768.


    Can someone assist me?

    HD resolutions

    Hi Tyler

    Here is a list of the common resolutions and what they are known as:

    720p = 1280 x 720 - HD or HD Ready

    1080p = 1920 x 1080 - Full HD

    2K = 2048 x 1080

    1440p = 2560 x 1440 - QHD or Quad HD

    4K or 2160p = 3840 x 2160 - 4K, UHD or Ultra HD

    8K or 4320p = 7680 x 4320 - 8K

    LG Display Rolls Out 3D LCDs with Full HD Resolution

    So after HD its 3D HD and after 3D HD whats next?

    Only thing I can't really wait for is OLED's but as far as Picture quality goes I guess just higher resolutions in 3D is the Next step?
