Can't check properties for any of the network adapters and can't install any drivers for...

    Problem #1:

I have 3 Network adapters Ethernet, Wireless and Bluetooth

All of them was working fine I have connection to Internet except

When I right click on ANY of my network adapters and then on Properties, I am getting error "An unexpected error occurred":

Can't check properties for any of the network adapters and can't install any drivers for... e0fff3c7-088d-4a16-badd-53b2170bf95d?upload=true.jpg

If I try to disable any of the network adapters, I am getting error "It is not possible to disable connection at this time. This connection may be using one or more protocols that do not support Plug-and-Play, or it may have initiated by another user or the system account":

Can't check properties for any of the network adapters and can't install any drivers for... 15e05e95-4b02-4233-a83f-a4e7b01100f0?upload=true.jpg

One of the suggestions to fix this issue was to remove device and reinstall it in device manager.

I decided to try with Wireless adapter first to see if that will work.

I was able to uninstall device successfully.

    Problem #2:

When I try to scan for hardware changes, system fails to install the device back.

Can't check properties for any of the network adapters and can't install any drivers for... e4f33f27-afb6-42ce-9e2f-e87e8b0252e8?upload=true.jpg

Then I try to Update driver. Windows finds the driver, but fails to install it.

I have checked SetupAPI.dev.log file and found that Windows was trying to install one driver first but "Unable to configure device, falling back to standard device installation" and standard device installation also failed with error:

!!! dvi: Add Service: Failed to modify existing service 'vwifibus'.
!!! dvi: Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.
!!! dvi: Error while installing services.
!!! dvi: Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.
!!! dvi: Cleaning up failed installation
!!! dvi: Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.
    dvi: {Install DEVICE exit 0x00000002}

The error message about file not found is misleading as I can see that file is present in location where system is looking for it:

Image Path = \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\vwifibus.sysCould it be an access issue?

I ran full Virus scan and sfc /scannow no errors was found

Also I was trying to download and install drivers from manufacture site and still getting same errors.

I think errors that I am getting for issue #1 somehow related to issue #2. And if I uninstall any of my currently working adapters, I wont be able to install them back.

The full driver installation log is below.

  3. Install a driver for your network adapter

Go to the list of network adapters in the control panel, turn of the lan and turn it on again. See if that helps.
