    Can't connect to Xbox Party through Game Bar - Only on one laptop


    Hi! I hope someone else might have some experience with this issue... I have a desktop and a laptop on windows 10. With the desktop I can log onto xbox parties no problem. With my laptop I can only log onto xbox parties that only have other windows 10 users in it. As soon as an xbox player joins the party crashes, or if there already is an xbox player in the party it wont let me in. I've also been told when i try to join it can crash the party for everyone.

    The laptop is a brand new MSI GE66 Stealth, its always had this issue connecting to xbox parties. Checking my connection under settings>gaming>xbox networking it's all looking good - NAT Type Open and Server connectivity Connected

    Thanks a lot for your time and help! I miss playing with my buddies I try to troubleshoot this every chance I get and I am just stumped!

    Xbox one party chat

    Hello Jaime,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    If you can't switch from in-game chat to party chat on your Xbox One console, it may indicate that there's a problem with the Xbox Live service or your network connection.

    Refer: You can't switch to party chat on Xbox One

    For more further assistance I suggest you to contact the Xbox support
    and check if it helps.

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    Initially, we need to pair the device to show up in the list while connected through Bluetooth. Check with the below mentioned steps and see if it works.
