Windows 10: Can't delete files/folders

I have extracted some emulation files into my internal G: drive, and I decided they aren't what I needed and tried to delete them. Most of the files deleted but I have 3 folders and several files that will not delete. I can't delete the files (which have no extension), nor can I delete the folder they are in:

G:\Downloads\Various Files\1\A\lev1.
G:\Downloads\Various Files\2\BATMAN
G:\Downloads\Various Files\3\BATMAN

I have files lev1. to lev5., and those 2 BATMAN files. None have extensions, and I can't rename the files. The lev.1-5 files end with a period, and the BATMAN files end with several spaces afterwards. I have no idea how to delete these. I can't even delete the main Downloads folder. I tried wiping the files, with no luck. And I even tried Malwarebytes' FileAssasin, but it couldn't see the files to load them. I can rename the folders but not the files themselves.

What can I do?

Can't Remove Read Only From Folders

Read Only applies to the content of a folder, not the folder itself. You an see this when you look at the Folder Properties. The checkbox is labeled "Read-only applies to files in folder)".

Is the problem that you can't delete the folder or you can't delete the files in the folder?

I suggest you to try deleting the files and folders in the Safe Mode with Networking.

Safe mode with Networking starts Windows in safe mode and includes the network drivers, services needed to access the Internet or other computers on your network.

Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10


Note: Please restart the computer to start in normal mode.

If the issue does not persists in Safe Mode, then perform a Clean Boot
to check if any third party application is causing the issue, as Clean Boot helps in determining what conflict is causing the issue.
