    Can't detect VGA cable


    Hello, i have a custom built PC
    and an LG monitor plugged in already for a while with HDMI.
    Now i got a second monitor (Dell) with VGA cable but Windows 10 says it can't detect the second monitor

    Any help?

    Update. I went to the f2 setup as my computer logs on and changed the video to auto detect. I then unhooked the HDMI cable and hooked up a VGA cable and boom, my computer is working on windows 10 perfectly. It seems the problem was the video driver.
    I have not found an updated video driver yet, so I will keep it on the VGA cable. My wife is the primary user and she is happy with the analog hookup instead of digital. You can't really tell a lot of difference. No thanks to Microsoft for any help.

    I recently got a VGA cord to connect my HP Pavilion Elite to my HP w2338h Monitor. The monitor says there is no input signal, and the PC isn't detecting the VGA cable. Help please?
