  1. Can't disable SSD defrag bug in Windows 10 2004

Hello. So I have a laptop with this new version of Windows 10, and it only has one SSD unit (CCan't disable SSD defrag bug in Windows 10 2004 :), so when I try to choose which units should not defrag automatically, it doesn't let me save my changes, as it's the only unit.

https://imgur.com/a/oACqyLj 4 screenshots of the situation. In picture #3 the accept (aceptar) option goes grey, and I don't know if unmarking the "Optimizar automaticamente unidades nuevas" (automatically optimise new units) could work for this bug. Sorry for being in Spanish

Anyone knows how to solve this?

  2. Defragmenting SSD

Hello everyone! Should I use the Windows 10 built-in Disk Defragmentation to defragment my SSD? Some internet sources suggest that SSDs should never be defragmented.

  3. Defragment & SSD

    Hi.

    I have installed a Samsung SSD 850 Evo on a Windows 10 build 10.0.14393.

In the Defragment software, I saw "trimmed" instead of "defragmented".

What is trim? Is it necessary to run defragment on SSD?

Running defragment makes any problem to SSD or not?

    Thank you.

Would defragging an SSD make a difference?

Well this is a quote from OCZ forum on their SSD's

And a quote from another source on SSD's, which can explain SSD performance loss, which is actually due to defraging.
