    Cant Disable Windows Mail/Calendar with Group Policy Editor?


    I am using the Group Policy Editor to disable Windows Mail and Windows Calendar.

    However, both programs are still available. Is the GP Editor completely worthless?

    Unable to enable real time protection in Windows Defender

    Real Time protection of Windows Defender is turned off and is not being enabled although I have enabled it in the settings, I have tried some ways but it always prompts "disabled by group policy"(cant access local group policy editor in win 10 home)

    I just have tried the way. but not succeeded. although I have come to know that the window defender also not working & showing a error msg as disabled by
    group policy. with the RUN the gpedit & Action center with
    Window Key+A , not open. even I cant find the group policy program.

    Actually it is not completely worthless I have been able to disable the Action center in taskbar notification area. Windows 10 is not going to let anyone uninstall the built in Apps. They a designed to sink devices that run the os or otherwise connect. I agree it would be nice if we could have the option to configure. I personally am ready to go back to windows 7 or 8.1.. I guess WE could log in with a Local account and just never use these apps, or maybe if we keep trying someone will figure out a way to uninstall what we want to...
