Windows 10: Can´t do factory reset after trying to solve blinking desktop

i´m lost now.


I have experienced blinking desktop issue on my GF laptop. She said it happened after windows updated. So I have tried to solve it like this:


- I have checked if my task manager was blinking aswell to ensure graphic card issue (no it wasnt so I went to recovery mode to disable services like Windows problem reporting and other one in MSCONGIF. Didnt work.


- Then I noticed Norton AVN installed on this laptop so unninstalled this one aswell, but didnt work.


- There werent any recovery points to move back laptop in time


- I managed to backup all necessary data to google drive using task manager - run program - chrome


- Then i wanted to do factory reset because I couldnt figure out another solutions. So I went to blue screen using hold down shift and clicking restart - troubleshooting - Factory reset - save my files. After all factory reset was done and i have log into desktop everything was blinking even faster now even recovery mode is now blinking. WHAT?! I was thinking about making factory reset and delete all files now, but it disappeared from troubleshooting options. There is only option of Setting UEFI firmware. Why?


Can you please try to help me solving this issue? Im willing to do factory reset now, but dont know how.

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.


First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

Break command list: Break Commands

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".

 

Ive factory reset my computer but I can't use the mouse or the keyboard to select laugage

In the meantime, if you're working on a desktop, we suggest that you try to use a PS2 keyboard just to bypass the installation process. Once Windows is up and running, you may now plug your mouse and keyboard to initialize Windows to detect these devices.

Let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Have you made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?
• Were you able to see any error code/ error message when the screen flashes?

This issue might have occurred due to outdated/ corrupted display drivers, try the below and check if it helps.
