    Hi!

    I'm pretty pissed off right now. I'm trying to download 100 mb on my drive which has 265 gb empty space - but it says that there isn't enough space.

    I tried nearly everything, from restarting to chkdsk - but nothing worked.


    I hope someone can help me solve this issue.

    My windows 10 upgrade consumes all of it's drive c: space (50 GB)

    • My windows 10 upgrade consumes all of it's drive c: space (50 GB)
    • I am unable to install the update,
    • I suspect the windows 10 need this much space and it is some kind of glitch,
    • Please suggest a way to free up some space as I don't prefer to format partition C:

    Only 28 MB of 100 MB available in System Reserved for Win10 upgrade?

    I've seen a couple of recent posts stating that their Windows 10 upgrade install has failed with the error: not enough space in system reserved.

    Does anyone know if 28 MB of open space in System Reserved is enough to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10? If not, can I use diskpart via CMD to delete the 100 MB System Reserved partition and then reboot to the windows 7 installation usb drive and
    do an automatic boot repair to re-install a new system reserved partition?

    Hardware:

    NUC Broadwell i3 pc

    8 GB Ram

    Intel 180 GB M2 Sata SSD

    (111 GBs open)

    need a remedy to finish action of C: drive enlargement by deleting drive D: delete volume in ghost modeneed further steps to proceed with C: drive enlargement

    delete volume in (ghost mode) need further steps to proceed with C: drive enlargement as required for update to finish due to C: drive is full current size of c: is @ 181.49 GB / free space @ 790 MB: % free is 0. and d: is @ 729.21 GB / free space @
    727.03 GB: % free is 100
