Windows 10: Cant download anything from store

Im having a problem where I try downloading anything from the store. I've tried wsreset.exe, restoring the app and so on, still not working. I'm on the latest windows update as of 18 Aug.


For an example I've recently bought Forza Motorsport 7. I tried installing it on one of my hardrives but nothing happened when I pressed install after selecting my harddrive. I thought it might me a problem installing it on another harddrive other than the boot drive so I cleared it up and tried again, with the same result. When I go over to downloads and updates it shows up as Starting Download, but doesn't move on from there. I've left it running over like 5 hours without any progress at all. The problem isn't with my internet where as I've got 1000/1000 mbps and games downloads perfectly from Steam, uplay and so on.


Also the store app itself is really laggy. You press a button and wait for about 5 seconds before anything happens. I've got Windows installed on an m.2 ssd and everything else works perfectly, so the problem isn't there either.

Downloading is Slow from Store.

Step 1:

I suggest you to clear Windows Store cache and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows logo key + R.
• Type wsreset.exe on Run window and press enter.
• Check if issue persists.

Step 2:

Try to run the sfc scan and check if the Windows store downloads faster:

Run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption.
SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and repair them.

• Press Windows key + X, click
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
  
  sfc /scannow

Windows 10 Apps from the store wont download

• Do you face this issue only with these apps?
• Did you try downloading other apps?
• Did you try stopping these apps and then downloading it again?

We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the link

• Type troubleshooting in the search
  box and hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

If the steps don't work try these steps:

Try to reset the Windows store and check.

• Press Win + R on the keyboard to open run Window.
• Type wsreset.exe to reset the Windows store cache.

Skype not downloading from windows 10 store

• What is the exact error code that you receive while trying to download Skype from Windows Store?
• Is this issue confined only to Skype app?
• Were you able to access any other apps from Windows Store?
