Windows 10: Can't Download Apps in Microsoft store

I can't download ANY apps in the MS Store. I've researched this, and tried multiple solutions posted here and elsewhere. I've run wsreset, reset the manifest whatever that was, run the troubleshooter, rebooted the PC, tried to stop and restart the update service wouldn't let me. No matter what I try, the apps sitting in download will not began to actually start to download.

From my research, many other users are having smilar problems. Is this just an unfixable issue?

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

In case that the troubleshooter didn’t help on this matter, we suggest that you reset the Microsoft Store. Kindly follow the steps:

• Press Windows + R keys to run the command box.
• Type WSReset, then try downloading the app again.
