Windows 10: Can't download games from Xbox app, code 0x80070005

    Can't download games from Xbox app, code 0x80070005


    Funny enough downloading from the MS Store works. Anyone know any solution? It isnt really that disruptive since I can still download games from the store, but I would like it to be fixed anyway.This happens at 90% mark or at the 100% mark. I recently put my device into factory settings with the keepy my data option on. I screwed up something in my RegEdit so I did that. Cheers, Luke

    I'm trying to download a game and when it completes it then comes up with Code: 0x80070005. the game is Sea Of Thieves and it's cross-plaform compatible if that makes a difference and I also bought the game on my Xbox one.

    Error 0x80070005 when trying to download anything from Microsoft Store

    Hello, yesterday I attempted to download Sea of Thieves via Game Pass Ultimate from the Microsoft Store.

    However, the download would give an error, code 0x80070005, after a few seconds following the "acquiring license" stage of the download.

    I've retried downloading the game multiple times, attempted to download other apps like Xbox Beta, and have searched for a solution online for several hours, but nothing that others have suggested so far seems to work.

    In fact, I even tried to download Xbox Beta from the Xbox website, but I was given error 0x80070005.

    How can I fix this error?

    Error 0x80070005 while downloading games

    Hi! I subscribed to the Xbox Game Pass (PC) on June and I was able to download any game I wanted. After the second week, everytime I try to download most of the games I get the error 0x80070005 and I can't find a solution to it. I've tried a lot of different
    things, I even deleted microsoft store from my pc to download it again and I couldn't download it again. First time I contacted the support, I was able to download one game using the "wsreset" command. Yesterday I contacted the support again and they told
    me to install games from browser to the app but it doesn't work with every game. There's games like Kingdom Come or Void Bastards that just doesn't start download via browser and I get the error 0x80070005 when I try to download it from the Xbox App.

    Please, help me!!
