Windows 10: Cant download xbox game pass games even though i have game pass

I am aware that this question has been asked a lot but none are helping. I bought the game pass ultimate for my PC about a week ago the £1 for 3 months deal and yet when I try to get a game it still doesn't work. I can still play the games I already have with game pass but can't download any new ones, and its all of them too, not just some games. I have checked and it says my subscription ends on 05/09/2021 5th of September so clearly it has worked but it still doesn't let me download new games.Please help!

Microsoft store game pass and Xbox game pass (Beta)

So I have 'game pass' for the Microsoft store that allows me to download and play the pretty much the same games that are on 'Xbox game' pass (Beta) but for some reason the beta app asks me to subscribe/pay again for the for the Xbox game pass (Beta).
Surely if I have paid £7.99 for the Microsoft store version I should get access to the Beta version? They are both called 'Xbox game pass'. Any help?
