Windows 10: Can't enable "Hey Cortana"

Hello,


I want to enable "Hey Cortana". When I go to the setting and click


1. Check Microphone - It opens up the Cortana search window


2. I try to turn on the Hey Cortana - toggle, it toggles back to off.


3. I tried to Troubleshoot the microphone and it didn't detect any problem.




4. Then I did a sound test with Skype and evrything worked fine. So the mircophone is working fine.




Then why I am not being able to configure "Hey Cortana"?

Hey cortana enabling switch is missing

Hi Donald,

You may find the Hey Cortana setting by following the steps below:

• Select the search box in the task bar.
• Select Notebook > Settings.
• Under Hey Cortana, switch the toggle to On.

Note: Cortana is only available in certain countries/region and some Cortana features might not be available everywhere.

how to enable "Hey Cortana" on my lumia 1520

Hi all,

I've Mu lumia 1520 with windows mobile 10 installed on it.

does any one help me how to enable "Hey cortana" feature on it?

i've tried all the steps like

- go to cortana settings > enable "hey cortana"

but i didn't find this kind of options

does it supports only lumia 950 ?

or some particular language?

help needed

It's possible that your microphone settings are incorrect. Let's try the following steps and check if it resolves the issue.

Step 1: Check if you have enabled the "Hey Cortana" feature

• 
  Click on the Windows Search bar or Press Windows key.
  
• 
  Click on the Hamburger sign at the top left of the window and click on
  Settings.
  
• 
  Enable Let Cortana respond when you say 'Hey Cortana' option.
  
• 
  Now check if it works. (Tip: After you say "Hey Cortana", follow up with a question/service for Cortana to respond).
