Windows 10: can't enable WpnUserService_10222f

so I was getting annoyed that I wasn't getting notifications, after checking task manager I noticed 3 services related to notifications, WpnService, WpnUserService and WpnUserService_10222f, after going to services in administrative tools WpnUserService was not there, I ignored it so I moved on to enabling the other 2, I enabled WpnService and set it to automatic, however when I try to enable WpnUserService_10222f I get a "the parameter is incorrect" message, I want my notifications to work again, so how do I fix this>

1. Are you not receiving notification only with particular app?

2. Are you aware of any recent changes made on the system?

Below are few of the troubleshooting you can try to further narrow down the root cause of the issue.

Method 1: Enable services through command prompt.

1. Search for command prompt from the start menu.
   
2. Right click and run as administrator.
   
3. Type in the below command and hit enter.
   
4. sc config WpnUserService start= auto
   
5. sc start WpnUserService
   

Method 2: Enable notification of particular app.

If you are not able to receive notification for particular apps, you can enable them from settings.

1. Navigate to Settings > System > Notifications & actions.
   
2. Check if get notifications from apps and other senders are turned on.
   
3. You can scroll down and search for other apps and enable notification for them.
   
4. You can also navigate to Settings > Privacy > Notifications.
   
5. You can change the permission and choose which apps can access your notification.
   

Method 3: Create a new user account and check.

If you still face the issue, I suggest you to
create a new user account and check if that works for you.
