Windows 10: Can't Export Contacts from outlook.live.com

I just tried to export my contacts from my Microsoft account at outlook.live.com. I selected Manage / Export contacts and get the window shown below.



Nothing happens when I click Export. Does anyone have a fix for this? I can fortunately export contacs from my synchronised account in Outlook 2010.

You can log-in to Outlook.live.com and retrieve the contacts from there, here's how:

• Log-in to Outlook.live.com from your PC
  
• Click on the square menu on the upper left corner and select People.
  
• Select Manage from tab menu and from the options select Export contacts.

How to export people/contacts from windows 10?

The built-in Windows 10 People app itself has no ability to export. However, if you are connected to an Office 365 mailbox with he People app, you should be able to see those contacts at
Outlook.com - Microsoft free personal email. If that's the case, export them from the web interface and export them with Manage>Export contacts.

 

In IE11 I get the usual Save box with the Yellow line, it works.
Same sort of box with Edge.

It does not seem to work with the Chrome Browser.

Thanks - I was using Chrome but the export option works in Edge / IE 11. That is one for the conspiracy theorists as you say.
