Windows 10: Can't get into Windows 10

I recently refreshed my drives and re-installed windows 10 with its latest updates. When being asked for a user account I accidentally added an account that I used a long time ago and forgot its password and I can no longer recover it...for some strange reason I can't even tell Windows 10 to change the user account.. at one point I was able to create a new user but it glitched me out right before I could create a pin.. Now I am completely locked out and there is no "Switch User" option like there used to be..What on earth do I do? And why has Microsoft made it even HARDER to access accounts/ch

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
