Windows 10: Cant install apps - password issue

OK,


This issue happens when I try to install an app from the store or update account info, windows asks for PIN verification, which is correct. Then it asks me to verify my password, and it has my yahoo email address at the top. It tells me my password is incorrect. I reset the password using the yahoo email address using the code sent by Microsoft. I try to log in again - same thing; Pin verification, I'm accessing sensitive info, please enter password, password incorrect. Tried to troubleshoot, but cant reach human beings. Please help - thanks.

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
