Windows 10: Can't install game pass games on my device.

Hey everybody,


I just bought the Game Pass for PC, and I'm trying to install some games onto my computer. However, when I try, the install button is greyed out and when I click 'install on my devices', it says that it 'looks like i don't have any applicable devices linked to your microsoft account'. But I have the computer I am literally on linked to my microsoft account. I've tried on the administrator profile, on my main one (which is the one that's logged into my microsoft account), i've turned my main account into a local one and logged back in, I tried logging in to my microsoft account on the administrator profile, and I honestly have no idea why it's showing me this error message because I do clearly have a device linked to my account. I'm on it.

If you can’t install Game Pass Games on your PC, follow these suggestions:

Check if you have the right Game Pass

Clear Cache of Xbox Game Pass App

Update to the latest Windows 10 version,viz v1903

Admin privileges for Games

Give Admin privileges for Games

Check Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

Repair Game if it keeps crashing or doesn’t work

Cannot Sign in to Xbox Live

Please try the steps given below and check if the issue persists:

Step 1:

I suggest you to right click on the game and try to run as administrator and check.

Step 2: if that doesn't help I suggest you to install game in compatibility mode and check:

Follow the steps below on how to install game in compatibility mode:

1. Download the game from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the game and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the game install and then check the functionality.
