Windows 10: Can't install KB5004237 update

    Can't install KB5004237 update


    I've been stuck in a loop with this for days and I'm tearing my hair out. Windows update keeps downloading 2021-07 Cumulative Update version 20H2 KB5004237 and prompts me to restart to install but the same process happens... Configuring Windows Update Gets to 7% Restarting orange screen Boot screen, followed briefly by a black screen with spinning dots Restarting orange screen again Boot screen again Orange screen saying we couldn't complete update, reverting changes. I then see on Updates screen, an error code 0x80070003 with the message "Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later". I have tried DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth in CMD, and sfc/ scannow and no issues were found, but upon repeating afterwards exactly the same issue. It wont even install the feature update to windows 10, version 21H1. I'm currently on build 19042.1052.

    Insurgency wont install and run for me....

    I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
    I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

    I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

    First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

    Any ideas?

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
