Windows 10: Can't install Minecraft for Windows 10.

Just bought the Starter Edition for Windows 10 and I can't play. When I click "Install/play" nothing happens. I have my PC registered as a Device but when I click "Install on My Devices" there's nothing listed. I've updated Windows as much as possible.


Is there a direct download link for the non-java version?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 installed? (Type winver
  in Windows search/Run command)
• Did you purchase Minecraft Windows 10 Edition for PC or Xbox?
• Are you getting any error message/code while installing the app?

However, we can try a few steps and check if that helps you to install the game. Before proceeding with the below steps, we would suggest you to sign out from Microsoft Store



Step 1:
Reset the Windows Store Cache

Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the
Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.



Note:
A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.



Step 2:
Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

Select the Start button, and then select Settings>Update & Security
> Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.



Step 3:
Reset Microsoft Store

Refer the steps in this article: Reset Microsoft Store via Settings.



Step 4: New user account

If the issue persists, then we would suggest you to create a new administrator user account and check, refer this article to
create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10.

• Are you experiencing this concern with other games?
• Have you made any changes on your computer prior to this concern?
• What are the troubleshooting steps you have done so far?

In the meantime, I suggest that you perform the troubleshooting steps below:

Step 1: Delete Temporary files. This will help delete temporary files that have been stored on your computer.

1. Click Start and click Settings.
2. Select System.
3. Select Storage.
4. Select This PC.
5. Click Temporary files.
6. Choose Temporary files.
7. Click Remove files.

Step 2: Reset Store Cache.

1. Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialog.
2. Type WSReset.exe, and click/tap on OK.
   
   Note: The WS tool resets the Windows Store without changing account settings or deleting installed apps.
   
3. The Store and a command prompt will now open without any message. The command prompt will automatically close when the Store cache has been reset.
