Windows 10: Can't install the Xbox 360 Wireless receiver on W10

For some reason I can't install my wireless receiver on W10. The controller I have is an original one that came with the Xbox 360, while the wireless is third party. My OS is in check, all of the main updates are installed (the optional ones are just keyboard, speaker, etc.) and i'm using a x64 notebook (don't know if it affects the driver, so I'm pointing it out). I've installed the x64 drivers from the microsoft website (windows 7 and windows XP versions), but none have worked out. When I put the receiver on the usb port, it's listed as unknown device and no matter how i update with the drivers that Microsoft give, it didn't work out, the xbox's light just kept flashing. Orginally I though that the problem was in the receiver, so i tested on my dad's computer (x64 system, Windows 8) and it worked, the controller conected properly. I've also looked everywhere for a solution, but haven't found any apart from one saying that I should revert back to the previous version. Does anybody have a solution for this?

Xbox Receiver Cannot Find Xbox 360 Wireless Controller

Hi.

After Windows 10 latest updates , my xbox receiver cannot find my xbox 360 controller.

How can i fix that ?

Not : I tried the things listed below ;

*Unplugged, change the usb ports,

*Uninstall driver and install again

*Uninstall driver and choose another type of device driver ( Charge and Play kit, Xbox Receiver, Xbox Controller from the device manager)

*Try another xbox 360 wireless controller

 

Xbox 360 Wireless receiver not working

After i formatted my pc, my xbox 360 wireless receiver keeps being listed as an unknown device, after i manually selected the drivers. It was working fine before. I also reinstalled winodws twice, to make sure that the installation was corrupt. I tested
it on my laptop and it worked fine. I don't know what to do.
