Windows 10: Can't install updates error 0x800f0922

Hi,


I haven't been able to update my windows 10 laptop for a few months now. Each time the update goes through almost the entire cycle up to about 98% and then I get the message "Windows couldn't install the updates, undoing changes". The error code I find when I go into updates is 0x800f0922. But Windows quickly forgets this, and tries all over again, with the same results.


After looking around, I think what this means is that the system reserved partition isn't big enough right?. Following another answer on the MS community board, I installed EaseUS partition manager, which seems to suggest that the reserved partition is 16MB, but the file system is classified as "other" and I can't expand it. I'm at a bit of a loss over what to do. I've got a steady state HDD so I don't fancy a complete reinstall. Is there another way of fixing this? And should/can I fix the partition problem--if it is in fact a problem?

Windows refuses to update - Error 0x800f0922


Windows won't update, i ran sfc as an Admin in CMD and no issues.

• Adobe is activated on Edge but still doesn't work, could this be related?

Note that accompanying this is an update for Net framework,The error number is often associated with that.

Are you certain the error number is associated with the KB rather than the Net framework update offered simultaneously?

If you wished to separate the elements offered at this time and try installing them individually, you could use Windows Update Minitool (free) which allows you to select updates individually.
