    Can't install updates


    Hi,

    For last weeks I'm unable to install Win10 updates (KB5000802 and KB4023057).

    Everytime I try to download an update it goes max to 1% then it returns 0x800f0900 error.

    Currently I'm running 20H2 (build 19042.630). Here's what I tried:

    - Windows Update troubleshooting doesn't detect anything

    - Turned off update service (in services.msc) and all connected to it services, cleaned download directory and turned eveything back on

    - sfc /scannow finds corrupted files but is unable to fix them.

    - DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth doesn't do a thing. It says that source files can't be found even though I have downloaded Windows ISO, tried to run it pointing at install.esd, then I've even extracted install.win from esd but it ends up with 0x800f081f error.



    Any suggestions? Maybe I'm missing something

    Insurgency wont install and run for me....

    I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
    I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

    I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

    First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

    Any ideas?

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
