Windows 10: Cant Install win10 64 bit on a 64x based processor

Hi,


My system has below parts;


Z370 A PRO motherboard

i5-8600k cpu @3.60 ghz

1TB hdd and 250gb NVMe ssd

2x8GB Ram


I bought windows home 10 32/64 bit usb type.


When I boot for the first time, choose 64 bit option and it failed with this stopcode: 0xc000021a. I tried for several times yet outcome was the same.


Then, I go with 32 bit and it goes smoothly and installed. Now my problem is not utilizing this 16 gb of ram and currently usable memory is only 2,21 gb which is a nightmare.


I tried to upgrade it via media creation tool yet it failed again. Then i choose the option of having iso file it suggests 32 bit one which is also weird. From specifications point of viem it could handle 64 bit os.


So my question is what should i do to install 64 bit version? Or what am I missing?

I have a 32 bit ×64 based processor with 4gb ram.can i install a 64 bit windows?

 

Dual Boot Win10 64 bit and Win10 32 bit

When I originally installed Win10 I installed the 32 bit version. I have a blank drive, and would like to install the 64 bit version on that, creating a dual boot system.

What are the steps I need to follow? I'm reasonably intelligent but not tech savvy.
