Windows 10: Can't install Windows 10, 0xC1000101 - 0x20017

Hello!

I've re-installed Windows 10 many times, but never ran into this problem before. I always make sure to get a fresh Windows installation every 4-5 months, and so I tried to install Win 10 from my USB, but failed. I have the latest version of Windows 10 on it and installed it with the Installation/Media Creation Tool. I've been doing this for years now with the same computer, and it really surprised me when I couldn't do it anymore. What happened was: I got into BIOS and selected my USB drive from the Boot menu. A while after that it took me back to my Boot menu and so I chose my USB drive again. A while after that my computer just booted like it normally would without the USB drive.

I didn't get any error codes or anything, so I kept trying out other methods. I tried installing Windows from my computer, and it looked promising. The Media Creation Tool downloaded the necessary files, rebooted to install Windows, but then.. an error code came up, with Windows still not reinstalled.

The error code: 0xC1000101 - 0x20017

The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during BOOT operation

I found a few people online with the same issue, but I could count the number of them on one hand. And I wouldn't need any hands to count the solutions provided. The oldest I found was a post back in Oct. 3, 2016, but there could have been others before that.

What I could do was reset my pc from the Options menu in Windows, but it's just not the same.

My question is: Is there anything I can do to solve this? Would a drive wipe from BIOS fix it? Or am I just with this?

My Windows is up to date.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
