Windows 10: Can't install Windows 10 on SSD

Hello everyone!


Just want to say in advance a big thank you for any advice you could give me


So, I have an HP EliteBook Folio G2, i7, and I would like to install a SSD in legacy mode because the other modes doesn't work.


I have done this n-times and I have succeeded in other SSDs. However, this time, I find myself in a predicament that I never thought would happen. I have a SSD format m.2 which doesn't work with my adaptator. I don't know the reason as all my other SSD in m.2 format works with it. So, this SSD only can be used inside of the laptop. Here what I have done so far in order to install Windows 10 and to boot on it:

• In UEFI mode with CSM, I was able to install Windows 10 but then it doesn't boot. Saying that there is no disk with bootable image.
• In UEFI mode without CSM, it shuts down
• Booting unto an external SSD that has windows, doesn't boot, tries to fix the computer but then it can't.
• In legacy mode, I can't install the Windows 10. The SSD is in MBR so no problems there.

The reason why I can't install windows is because :



I have tried everything in order to find this controller and try to activate it. Nothing is working.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
