Windows 10: Can't install Windows 10

Hi, I've been trying to install Windows for the past day, and I only seem to be moving backwards. At first, the installations were unstable, tending to not be able to reboot, bluescreen, etc. I tried to check the integrity of the drive with Crystal Disk Info, sfc /scannow and chkdsk. All showed no issues, and HWmonitor wasn't showing concerning info either. After cycling through 3 destination hard drives, one being new, and confirmed functional, I can't even complete the installer anymore. I sometimes get a "Select the driver to be installed" error before even being able to select the destination partition. If that doesn't happen, I get something like a 0x80070001 or 0x800701e3 error mid way through the process. I heard the issue could range from corrupted install media, to a bad USB port to be installing from, or just using USB 3. So I tried working around those, and also rebuilt the install media for my USB 2 flash drive to no avail. I thought it might be the problem, so I tried an external HDD. Same problem. Each time I try to iterate a solution, it takes about 20 minutes to see if it will work (and it doesn't) so I feel like I'm kicking my feet in the sand here.

I'm completely stumped at this point, if anybody has any pointers, I would much appreciate it.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
