Windows 10: Can't join Windows Insider

Whenever I try to join the Windows Insider Program in the settings app through the Get Started button, it says, "Something went wrong. We aren't able to talk to our service right now. Please try again later." I tried the solution at https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/7o447r/cant_join_windows_insider_program_after_fresh/. I got the fix the problem button, so I linked my Insider account. Then I clicked the Fix the problem button and it gave me the same error that I got with the Get Started button. Does anybody know how to fix it?

Can't join Windows Insider program

Hi,

I am trying to join Windows 10 insider program and for some reason every time i join and restart my computer (as part of joining windows insider program) and go to insider page in setting i see join insider button like I never clicked before restarting.
