Windows 10: Can't login to my computer - Windows 10

Hello,

I had been always using fingerprint and the PIN to login. I never used the password for my account so can't even remember.


I wanted to find out if any of the services causing the slow startup of the machine. I turned off all the service and reboot the machine to test the start up time. Though, when I try to login after startup, Fingerprint and PIN is not working (Saying they are not available). Most likely because their service is not restarting.


Is there any way to restart these services before login in?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
