Windows 10: Can't login to Office 365 products after upgrading to Windows 10 1903 in-place

Recently I have upgraded a Win7 system to win10 1903 via in-place upgrade via


The software works and activates but it keeps asking me to sign in. However, when I click on the link to sign in it opens a window, asks for the users email address, asks whether it is a Work or Personal account, and then the window disappears without asking for a password. I have tried many times and restarted the computer but it is still the same. This is preventing the user from using Outlook and One Drive except through a web browser. as there is no integration with his accessibility software



Problem is a Reinstall of windows isn't really an option as this person works from home and we cant wipe his system due to his need's software that he has special needs and accessablutly options - been trying to find them. as this pc also joins a domain it must be connected to our network via VPN.

Cortana & Office 365 Integration

We are trying to integrate Cortana with our Office 365 subscription, but it never works. Here are the steps we have done:

• Turned on Cortona in the Office 365 Admin portal
• We are using Windows 10 1703 – connected Office 365 service to Cortana

Did the same on windows 10 mobile with no luck, Cortana says its connected to Office 365, but sees no data and we are getting zero errors

We went rough office 365 support first and tried all fo their suggestions, they kicked us over to Windows support which is currently closed.

We are on v1703 with all updates in place, it does not work on Windows 10 desktop or mobile

any ideas? I can give you all steps 365 support had us run through if that will be helpful

Windows 1903 - File / Open / Browse issues (Office 365)

I have been in discussion with a Microsoft agent over on the Office 365 forum, and have been directed over here regarding this issue.

Here is a brief summary:

Issue description:

There is a 5-30 seconds delay when using File/Open/Browse in Office 365 1902, Win 10 1903 on our workstations. While the same version of Office 365 is normal on Win 10 1803 workstations.

Environment:

Win 10 1903.

Office 365 1902

Troubleshooting steps completed:

1.
Updated Office 365 to 1909, didn't solve the issue

2. Ran
Office in safe mode, the same issue

3.
Disconnected from the Network and tried again, the same issue.

Assessment:

The issue is highly likely related to Win 10 1903 operation system because

1.
The issue affects machines with Win 10 1903, but doesn't affect the same spec of machines with Win 10 1803

2.
The issue persists after updating Office and opening Office in safe mode.

 

office 365 vs office 2013

They are the same, 365 has less money making schemes, but dumps everything on the cloud.
365 is online, 2013 is 100% offline.
Also 365 will cost more in the longrun, especially if you dont upgrade for 3 years.
