Windows 10: Can’t login to PC window account

Hi,


I used to login to my laptop using PIN but suddenly it stopped working and it started saying wrong username and password. So i tried my microsoft account password which i know was right but it still gave me same error everytime. I even tried resetting my account password and tried them as well but they work on web but not on laptop account.


i also tried all Troubleshooting options, be it restoring to last working point, tried login through safe mode, through CMD and all other, but i was not able to do any of them as once i select that option window again ask for password and when i enter it the same message comes again.


i even tried ‘Reset this PC’ both options but they somehow always failed at the last saying something went wrong. I also checked my internet connection and everything that is being suggested on forums and on youtube videos.


I really dont want to lose my data, can someone please help me with the issue.

  Are you trying to login to Microsoft account or local account?

  If its Microsoft account are you able to login using the web interface?
  

I suggest you to use the on-screen keyboard and try to login. Follow the steps below:

Click on the Ease of Access icon at the right bottom of the screen and select On-screen keyboard and check if issue persists.

Please get back to us with the results of the above instructions.

Hi,

I tried everything that you suggested.

I am trying to login to Microsoft account.

And I am able to login using the web interface.

I used on-screen keyboard too. But the issue persists. It gives an error, and asks to try again.

Please help. I am stuck.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.
