Windows 10: Can't login to Window 11 Pro using company domain

I am trying to set up several Windows 11 Pro laptops so that employees can login using their company domain. Our domain is registered in Entra ID, and all employee emails are active in Entra. We add our domain using by going to Settings>Accounts>Access Work or School>Connect. We then add through Entra ID. We then go to Accounts>Other Users and add accounts under the work domain.Computer is re-started and when logging in, we only see the original user that we used during intial setup, and the option for "other users" If we select "other users", we enter a users email address for our

UnattendedJoin error: failed to find the domain data (0x6e)

Thanks for the suggestion! I don't want to add a domain account, as this is a generic unattended install that will be used for all company machines. Do you think it's possible that the computer would join the domain if, instead of using UnattendedJoin in specialize, I used your steps but left out the specific account? The other thing I was thinking was to use a generic account to allow the domain join during the specialize step. I added a machine password in the UnattendedJoin component, and instead of getting the error listed above, I got an authentication error, which makes me think I could probably do a secure join instead of the unsecure join. Thoughts?

 

Windows 10 Home to Pro Upgrade Domain Login Issue

As my title suggests; we have a laptop that was just upgraded from Windows 10 Home to Pro edition, connected it to our domain, it shows up in active directory, but it will not let me login to any domain user account. I tried setting local admin privledges
to my domain account, took it off the domain, changed the pc name, and put it back on the domain. I even restarted the laptop to make sure the changes went through. It just says wrong user or password login. I've never had this issue on any of our 200 workstations
on the domain before. We have some Windows 10 machines on the domain working just fine. I'm wondering if the upgrade to pro didn't fully install the files needed for domain access maybe? I don't want to reformat, but I might have to give that a try.

Any thoughts are appreciated and thanks ahead of time.

Windows 11 Home to Pro Upgrade for Domain Use

Owner of company had to buy a laptop while on vacation to do work remotely in a pinch. Laptop has Windows 11 Home, we want to upgrade to 11 Pro for domain use.

If the Windows Store is the place to purchase this upgrade for $99, and the Store has to be linked to a Microsoft Account, how can I ensure we retain the license if that account was disabled if that employee left? What is the best/proper way for an organization to upgrade a PC from Home to Pro in order to use in domain environment without risk of losing the Pro license down the road?
