Windows 10: Can't open anything including task manager

    Can't open anything including task manager


    I should start by saying that this started when I restarted to update my graphics driver

    When I log in, I can't click on anything on my taskbar. the start menu opens, but nothing on it works either.


    windows key + R openes the little input box, but won't actually run anything like taskmgr or cmd. ctrl + alt + dlt as well as ctrl + shft + esc are unresponsive. I can open file explorer, but nothing will run from it.


    I can access the restart options by restarting before I log in and holding shift, although when I try to use them I get no picture signal

    Open Task Manager in Windows 10


    In tablet mode, long pressing the windows icon in the task bar will pop up (at release) a menu like that in step 4 above. There the Task Manager is available.

    None of the above described ways to open the Task Manager seem to work in tablet mode. Does anyone know? I cannot for my life figure it out, either I'm plain stupid or MS is playing tricks on us...

    Task manager crash


    Task manager is still crashing when applied the above steps and explorer crashes as it takes a while to close and its stuck on a white window and i cant open start till it goes.

    Can't open anything including task manager

    Can't open Task Manager as administrator

    So, whenever i try to open my task manager on my pc, it says "Task Manager was deactivated by your Administrator", even thought it is my PC and i am the admin.
