Windows 10: Can't open windows Store

I screwed up big time. All I wanted to do was change the theme in Windows Terminal, but Windows wouldn't let me make any changes to the default.json file because I don't have permission to write even though I am an administrator. So I removed Windows Terminal, and tried to install it again but I kept getting an error in Windows Store. I tried WSReset.exe in PowerShell, after I executed that command Windows Store will not open. However I saw white bar on all apps that I downloaded from the Store, including Ubuntu. I tried opening Ubuntu, but that app wouldn't not open. Without giving any second thoughts I uninstalled Ubuntu, now I believe all the files I created in WSL is gone, can't restore them (if I'm wrong please let me know). I have also tried" Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} in PowerShell to get the Windows Store to open, but it did not work. I'm running out of ideas, my last hope is to do a Windows update while keeping all my files and apps.

Windows 10 Store opens for no reason by it's self.

Hi,

To resolve the issue with your Windows Store, we suggest that you reset it by following the steps listed:

• Press Windows Key + R to open Run.
• Type wsreset.exe, and click OK.

It will show a command prompt window which is blank, but it is clearing the cache. Just wait for the Store to close and open automatically.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
